Music, Cheers & Hugs as the Class of 2027 Arrives

First-year move in day at Duke is all about the welcome.  

But what hits first is the noise. 

As the class of 2027 arrived at East Campus early on a cloudless but cool Saturday morning, upbeat music blared and crowds of returning students descended on every vehicle, yelling, “Pop that trunk!”
